Methodology
Our Accountability Score weighs four factors:
- Frequency (30%) — Number of recalls per 12-month period
- Severity (30%) — Class I (deadly risk) vs II vs III
- Response Speed (20%) — Days between contamination and recall
- Scope (20%) — Geographic distribution of affected products
Data Sources
